CT Angiography (CTA)

In CT angiography (CTA), non-ionic iodinated contrast material is injected into a peripheral vein and special x-ray equipment is used to produce multiple images.

A special computer is then used to join them together in 3-D and multidimensional views.

This produces detailed images of both blood vessels and tissues, useful in planning before angioplasty and stent placement, and other potential interventions.

To schedule a CTA, please contact the office in New Port Richey, Florida, by phone or book your appointment online.
