Abdomen Complete (duration 30 mins)
Prep: NPO 5 hours before test.
Aorta (duration 20 mins)
Prep: NPO 6 hours before test.
Breast Aspiration / Fine Needle Aspiration (duration 45 mins)
Prep: Please have your films approved by us prior to the date of the exam.
Fetal 13 or Less Weeks (duration 30 mins)
Prep: Drink 32 oz. water 1 1/2 hours before test. Finish within 1/2 hour. Do not use restroom until after test. When scheduling the exam please notify us of the # of weeks pregnant to the best of your knowledge.
Fetal 14 or More Weeks (duration 30 mins)
Prep: Drink 32 oz. water 1 1/2 hours before test. Finish within 1/2 hour. Do not use restroom until after test. If 28 weeks or more, drink 20 oz. of water. When scheduling the exam please notify us of the # of weeks pregnant to the best of your knowledge.
OB (Fetal) Transvaginal (duration 20 mins)
Prep: No prep.
Male Pelvis (duration 30 mins)
Prep: 32 oz. Water 1 1/2 hours before test. Finish within 1/2 hour. Do not use restroom until after test.
Neck Aspiration (duration 30 mins)
Prep: No blood thinners such as Coumadin before and since the PTT & PT tests were done. Bring results of PTT & PT labs done within one week prior to appointment. Please make sure that your previous films are approved by us before scheduling the test.
Paracentesis (duration 90 mins)
Prep: No blood thinners such as Coumadin before and since the PTT & PT tests were done. Bring results of PTT & PT labs done within one week prior to appointment.
Pelvic + Transvaginal (duration 30 mins)
Prep: 32 oz. Water 1 1/2 hours before test. Finish within 1/2 hour. Do not use restroom until after test.
Pelvic Only (Transabdominal) (duration 30 mins)
Prep: 32 oz. Water 1 1/2 hours before test. Finish within 1/2 hour. Do not use restroom until after test.
Renal Arterial (duration 60 mins)
Prep: NPO 8 hours.
Thyroid Biopsy (duration 60 mins)
Prep: No blood thinners such as Coumadin before and since the PTT & PT tests were done. Bring results of PTT & PT labs done within one week prior to appointment. Please have previous films approved by us prior to scheduling the test.
Ultrasound Guided Needle LOC (duration 60 mins)
Prep: Please have your previous films approved by us prior to scheduling this test.
All Other Ultrasounds (duration 30 - 60 mins)
Prep: No prep.
