General Preparation Information In the preps, NPO means the patient should not eat or drink anything for that period of time. However, if the patient is diabetic or has hypertension, please call us and ask us about the prep to suit your condition.
If you have more than one study with conflicting preps, please call us to clarify how you need to prepare both the exams.
